PRUNO Releases New Video For “Shine On” Featuring Jeremy Penick & Hits The
Road With Moonshine Bandits & Angels Cut
Los Banos country rapper Josh “Pruno” Gamble is about to hit the road for a month long
tour with the Moonshine Bandits and Angels Cut for the month of October. To celebrate
his upcoming tour, PRUNO has released the video for his new single “Shine On”
featuring Jeremy Penick online at https://youtu.be/aWQHUY1daH0. The track appears
on PRUNO’s debut album “Trailer on Tanner Road” which was released on the
Moonshine Bandits new label MSB Entertainment. RebelRow.com hailed the track
saying, “Pruno shines bright with some slick rhymes laid over a bed of infectious guitar
licks and a thunderous stadium clapping beat that has a Kid Rock style southern rock
vibe to it.”
Born In Los Banos Ca and raised by his grandma and grandpa with great morals and
respect for others. His mother and father were alcoholics and drug addicts so most of
the time they were in prison which created a hectic child life. Gamble was able to find
comfort in his love for music. His first cassette tape was “License to Ill” by the Beastie
Boys. His love for the art of rhyme helped him get through some tough years of
adolescence. He popped his tape in the walk man and tuned out the world. Music was
his escape.
Growing up on Tanner Road in an old trailer park, Gamble felt the pain of a
dysfunctional family. He turned to the streets where he was surrounded by crime, drug
sales and addiction. He became street smart at an early age and learned to turn a 5 to a
20 and was able to survive in a cold environment. He later found himself trapped behind
the walls of a State Prison and had to learn things the hard way.
Having time to focus behind bars, Josh realized his true purpose in life was to focus on
music. His pain would be translated through song writing which gave him an outlet to
express his feelings through music. A love for country, rock, jazz, and hip hop, inspired
his song writing. Being raised around addiction within his family, Gamble turned to
bands like Johnny Cash, CCR, and the Eagles to block out any negativity.
Pruno signed with MSB Entertainment late last year and has hit the ground running
touring across the country and bringing his infectious sound to the masses playing
shows with of Jelly Roll, Rehab, Demun Jones and Big B.
